Below are some frequently asked questions about our firewood which we hope you will find of use.
What type of wood is included in the firewood?
All our firewood is hardwood, and is predominantly hornbeam, ash, field maple, oak, beech, silver birch, lime, sycamore and cherry.
How are the logs seasoned?
Our firewood is stored for 2 years after it has been cut and dries naturally before being delivered.
What size logs do you supply? Are they suitable for a wood burner?
Our standard logs are cut to 10" but we can adjust to suit all of your requirements, we can supply smaller logs to fit wood burners.
Do you supply all year round or is it just for winter?
We hold a stock of 800 to 1000 tons of firewood at all times so our customers are never disappointed with availability.
